What do you mean by 'Java Server'? What exactly is it 'serving' up?
- Applets?
- JSP/Servlets?
- Java Web Start apps.?

No for the first and last, the second requires a 'servlet container'
which is effectively 'J2EE'* that comes with a built in 'J2SE'*.

* Or JEE/JSE depending upon the 'marketing nomenclature
of the minute'.

Did this have something to do with Graphical User Interfaces?
What is it?
