From my vague recollection of implementing D'n'D in an animated Gif project, that is wrong. Originally I had added the drop listener to an 'image list' on the left of the GUI - but decided it made sense to allow images to be dropped anywhere in the GUI. AFAIR I had to move the drop listener to the frame to allow the user to 'drop anywhere'. Have you got an SSCCE that shows this behaviour? -- Andrew Thompson http://www.athompson.info/andrew/ Message posted via JavaKB.com http://www.javakb.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx/java-gui/200710/1 --- * Synchronet * The Whitehouse BBS --- whitehouse.hulds.com --- check it out free usenet! --- Synchronet 3.15a-Win32 NewsLink 1.92 Time Warp of the Future BBS - telnet://time.synchro.net:24
