Role:
ATG/J2EE Developer
 
***Remote work available after being onsite for first 2-3 weeks during which time they would meet other team members and ramp up.
 
Skills:
4+ years recent work developing in ATG
Java/J2EE development
Strong experience in innovative design & development environment with customer web & e-commerce
Minimum of 5 years of IT application development experience, preferably within a large company
Technical development experience utilizing ATG 9.0 or higher experience in addition is preferred
Must possess a collaborative/team oriented work approach
Must have strong oral and written skills to effectively communicate ideas and processes
Must demonstrate strong sense of ownership of applications and technical environment
Will have heavy interaction with various departments (sales, services, operations) in determining needs; must be very consultative and have strong systems analysis/needs analysis skills.
This role is for a person who is capable of developing business-critical software in an innovative environment that requires flexibility and high productivity.
 
Preferred:
Mobile app development preferred 
 
Summary:
This role will be focused on the development of business web & eCommerce solutions through ATG technology and platforms.  It will be a combination of production support work & project delivery.  Therefore, it will require the ability to troubleshoot, identify & implement fixes as well as take business requirements thru to production delivery.  There will need to be a strong ability to communicate options, solutions & issues to broad range & levels of stakeholders. 
 
Duties:
Troubleshoot issues, recommend appropriate solutions & support resolution accordingly in a production support environment.
Define, design & develop/configure on-line solutions thru ATG applications in supporting environments such as Java, JBOSS, HTML/XML, JavaScript, J2EE, SQL, Oracle and .NET
Work collaboratively with all team members to accomplish delivery responsibilities timely and effectively against milestones
Liaison with the business community to understand requirements, objectives and approvals
 
Participate in cross-functional teams to identify solution impacts, approaches and dependent opportunities across the environments
Utilize business and systems expertise to identify new or improve the online experience and evaluate for adoption into the business environment, providing ongoing consultative services to business stakeholders & IT partners
Solve complex issues that arise and recommend enhancements or new approaches to address 
Create in-depth specifications for systems to meet user requirements and validate needs are met
Update stakeholders on any tasks that are at risk or where project plan adjustments need to be made
Participate in technical online strategic decisions
Liaison with other development and infrastructure teams
Perform other duties as assigned
