I have been using aerc for around 7-8 years now, and is the only email
client so far I like, is TUI/CLI uses vim and is perfect for self
configuration it has no limits even runs shell and can run tut and other
CLI programs inside, perfect to submit to git repos using the original
intended way to submit to git "with email" not that crappy fork from
github also aerc is GO not a slow scripting language to patch things
like python, GO is a real systems programming language as rust/C/C++ and
so on so is fast and nice.
Anyways I am in the mailing list and someone just posted this article
that I missed from last year 2024
https://www.julioloayzam.com/guides/email-with-aerc/
If anyone needs help setting it up, ask in our matrix space on our next
2600 meeting, I will be happy to help as long you have read the man page
first...
Happy Hacking
