I do have a reply for Andrew, but I didn't send it. He didn't
seem to understand what was posted and was losing context. He
seemed to be getting angry. My replies were also becoming
argumentative, hostile, and taxing.

The available proof indicates it's fantasy to believe otherwise.
So far, I've yet to see *any* counter proof to *any* of my claims.

Do you see me initiating Forth versus C threads? I could. Do you
see me posting C code here demonstrating it's advantages? No. I
might've done so a few times in the past, but I don't recall doing
so. AIR, if I posted any code here, it was Forth code. Do you
see me saying: "Program in C. It's better!". I.e., I'm not
recruiting for C programmers as you seem to indicate. There are
plenty of C programmers and programmers for C related languages.
I don't see so many around for Forth. In fact, I've never met a
Forth programmer IRL. AFAICT, Forth programmers only exist on the
Usenet, much like unicorns in the minds of young girls or mermaids
in the minds of young boys.

Do you see me stating the 'truths' about other languages besides
Forth? Yes. You've seen me mention Pascal, Basic, PL/1, and a
bunch of others too. I.e., Forth is not a target for me. It just
doesn't compare to C. And, I have Forth interpreter that's
in-progress. So, why attack it? It's really an issue of people
here rejecting the obvious truths, i.e., being willfully blind.

In fact, Hugh, you've criticized many other languages too here on
c.l.f. This is despite your stance against conversations you deem
to be discussing: "my HLL can beat up your HLL". Honestly, I
can't recall one language, other than Forth, that you've said you
liked... So, the only thing you haven't done, as compared to me,
is to not make "such a bizarre and grandiose claim". Even so,
it's clear you that you actually do believe it, whether you've
stated it or not.

Well, things which are void and without form exist at the
beginning of religions, i.e., a language has syntax...

Yes, I'm a firm believer C outshines Forth, as well as most other
languages, in numerous ways, and not just a few. IMO, a variant
of PL/1 I programmed in is the only other language that's as
effective. I've also openly stated and posted about many of C's
faults. Both Forth and C are as Turing complete as they can be.
So, in theory, anything can be coded using either language...
Both are ubiquitous. I've stated those over and over too. So,
again, in theory, anyone can find, learn, and use Forth. No, I
don't know what's Gavino's problem with that. I'm assuming it's
something mental.

But, if Forth is like a religion, it's negligible as compared to C
and C offshoots, much like Judaism is neglible when compared to
Christianity or Islam.
