xtc would be ( i*x xti -- j*x ), no? E.g., THEN has a non-null stack

This would not fit Gforth, in particular not INTERPRET/COMPILE:
words, because INTERPET/COMPILE: takes two xts, but the
xt representing compilation-semantics does not take an xti.

This fits Gforth (and Gforth has these words under a different name).
For
xt1 xt2 INTERPRET/COMPILE: foo

NAME>COMP (NT>COMPILE) produces xt2 ' EXECUTE
