Often?  Can you even produce one example?  For Forth?

Just recently an issue came up again about whether EVALUATE is allowed
to copy the input string elsewhere and interpret it there.  The Hayes
test suite checks that the system does not do that and this
interpretation has been supported by the the TC in RFI 6
<http://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/forth/dpans-html/a0006.htm>.  The
specification is not clear, as evidenced by the fact that it was
interpreted differently from the TC by at least two implementors.
