| Subject | screenshot and save as file? |
| From | linuxuser330250@gmx.net |
Hello! I'm new here. I've got several Power Macs that are healthy and I occationally use them, but I have one question regarding Open Firmware: I would like to make a screenshot of what I typed/did in Open Firmware. Also, I'd like to make a screenshot of the graphical boot selection that is seen when pressing the option key during firmware phase. I found this Forth script for an OLPC XO-1.5: http://code.metager.de/source/xref/openfirmware/dev/video/common/screenshot.fth But I'm not sure how to use it and which key the "frame key" whould be on an Apple or Windows keyboard. I'm not a developer nor a coder, so I have no chance altering that script for it to work on a Power Mac. And maybe there is already a script that will allow to make a screenshot and save it to a file for Power Macs of which I don't know. If there is still someone around - do you know of such a tool? Or would you be able to alter the script and adapt it for Apple Open Firmware? Thanks for reading, Andreas aka Linux User #330250
