Because having at least some kind of user manual is a
sine qua non of any programming language that is meant
to be taken seriously. Any language that doesn't is
nothing more than a toy or pet project.
Furthermore, you may expect that no one will shower
your language with praise if all they ever hear is
you bragging about it.
