While there is no cost to charge your car, you will need a ChargePoint account to access. However, a fee of $5.00 per hour will be charged beginning 30 minutes after your car is fully charged if it is not moved. In addition, regular garage fees apply for parking. For more information: chargepoint.com.
An additional parking option is the Centennial Gardens, Lot C on the Hermann Park Parking Map. It is limited to three-hour parking and is accessed from outside the park at Hermann Dr. and Crawford St.

Hermann Park allows bus parking ONLY in designated areas on Hermann Park Drive curbside, and parking lot A across from HMNS.
Map is provided by the Hermann Park Conservancy.
Parking is not owned or operated by the Houston Zoo.
When traffic is heavy in Hermann Park, city police officers will make Hermann Park Drive one way, preventing vehicles from turning into the park from Cambridge. When this happens, consider driving to offsite parking as lots in the park are likely to be full. To get into the park, continue on Cambridge until you arrive at Fannin. A right on Fannin or Main will take you to a roundabout; turn right onto Hermann Park Drive and continue through the park to reach the Zoo.
There are many ways to get to Griffith Observatory! The easiest and fastest way is via public transportation. You can also hike, bike, take a shared ride vehicle, or walk up from parking elsewhere in the park.
The bus stops in front of the Observatory along the horseshoe driveway every 20-25 minutes. There are also stops at Mt. Hollywood Drive (for access to Griffith Park hiking trails), at the Greek Theatre, and along Hillhurst Avenue in Los Feliz Village. The cost is 50 cents, but only 35 cents with a Metro TAP card. Seniors and persons with disabilities pay 25 cents. Small children (4 years and under) and LADOT or Metrolink pass holders ride for free. Buses require exact change; drivers are not able to make or provide change. There is NO parking in, around, or near the Vermont/Sunset Metro station.
DASH Observatory/Los Feliz WILL run on evenings when there are concerts at the Greek Theatre. It is possible buses may be delayed because of traffic congestion. Also, on concert nights there will be parking restrictions in and around the Greek Theatre. In planning your visit, you should check the Greek Theatre schedule. The Greek Theatre season generally runs from April through October.
Those hiking to the Observatory are encouraged to take one of the hiking trails which originate near the Greek Theatre or Fern Dell. There is public parking near all trailheads. Check Griffith Park hiking maps for more information.
There is no time limit. Pay stations accept only credit cards. Once parked, go to the pay stations in the parking lot and along West Observatory Road and Western Canyon Road and follow the instructions on the pay station. Once you have paid, take your receipt back to your car and place it on the dashboard (PAY AND DISPLAY). If you park without paying and displaying the receipt your vehicle will receive a parking citation. There are NO REFUNDS for parking fees.
The Observatory has designated disabled parking spaces in the south part of the Observatory parking lot for those with official plates and/or placards. These spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. If all spaces are full, you can park at the Greek Theatre and take the bus. DASH Observatory/Los Feliz buses are equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp. Disabled access shuttles coming to the Observatory will be passed through even when the road is closed and will drop off at the horseshoe driveway in front of the building. Such shuttles may not park at the Observatory.
NO BUS OR SHUTTLE PARKING: Groups in buses coming to the Observatory will be passed through (even when the road is closed) and must drop off at the designated area near the building. NO buses may park or wait at the Observatory at any time. Buses must leave after dropping off passengers and return when they are ready to pick up visitors; there simply is not room at the Observatory for safe parking. There is generally parking available around the Greek Theatre, though this is not guaranteed.
Use the search box below to find Metrorail stations that provide parking. Select a station to read details about costs, fare policies, and number and type of spaces available. If a station is not on the list, there is no Metro parking available at that location.

Metro offers reserved parking at 35 rail stations. The monthly reserved parking fee is $45-$65 and is paid in addition to the regular daily parking rate. Reserved parking spaces for permit holders are available until 10 am. After that time, all unused spaces are available for general use. To learn more about Metro's reserved parking or to apply for a permit, view our Reserved Parking page.
Multi-day parking (also known as overnight or long-term parking) is available at four stations: Greenbelt, Huntington, Franconia-Springfield, and Wiehle-Reston East. Each of these stations has between 15 and 17 spaces allocated for multi-day use of up to 10 days. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge for multi-day parking beyond the regular fee. See the individual station pages for more details about multi-day parking at these four stations:
Accessible Parking Spaces
Accessible Parking Spaces are located at several locations along the periphery of the campus. All Seattle Center garages have designated accessible parking spots. If all the available spaces are full, visitors should check with the Attendant on Duty for remaining availability.
There is an early-bird parking discount for those who park in these garages before 9 am, Monday through Friday. If you arrive before this time, we recommend you do not validate your parking ticket at the Aquarium, as that will override the early-bird parking discounts.
For general admission ticketholders, if you reserve your parking online in advance, the rate you are charged is the discounted Aquarium guest rate. For National Aquarium members, please do not reserve parking online in advance as we are then unable to provide the member discount.
The Aquarium's largest cafe is located on the ground floor of Pier 3 near the Main Entrance and is open daily for house-made chicken tenders, smash burgers, sandwiches, bowls, coffee, draft beer and more. Place your order at the kiosks or the Pier 3 Cafe website in advance for convenient pick-up. Cashiers are available for customers who prefer to order and pay in person. Seating is available.
Unless things change a lot since I left, the city of Torrance does not have a lot of restricted street parking. Pretty sure you can find street parking in the neighborhoods nearby. Just read signs about street cleaning and residential permits and other restrictions.
I used to eat at the Wahoos Taco right near there at least once a week. It is not an unsafe area. Friends lived nearby in one of the apartments when we were starving grad students and we parked on the streets to visit.
Chinita, my bil lives in an apartment in the Emerald/Spencer Ave area. That's fine, across from Torrance Blvd. I was thinking of the Del Amo parking lot at night, leaving a lone (ta && ta.queueForLoad ? ta.queueForLoad : function(f, g)document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', f);)(function()ta.trackEventOnPage('postLinkInline', 'impression', 'postLinks-91637829', '');, 'log_autolink_impression');car. They gave employees parking passes for the garage, rather than park elsewhere.
While there are some parking meters on nearby streets, parking near the museums is mostly restricted to Cambridge residents, except on Sundays. Visitors are encouraged to use public transit, particularly the MBTA Red Line that provides convenient access to Harvard Square.
I have a consultation appointment at the Phoenix Hospital next month and we are driving in for the day from out of state. We will be towing our 19 ft travel trailer with a pick up truck. It is the only way we can travel. I need to know if I can park it for the day in the north parking lot, #1 or 2, while we are in the Mayo Clinic Specialty building #2 that afternoon.
I do know that Florida has a large parking lot on their campus dedicated to RVs if you will be driving one down and you can park over night there. You may want to contact the concierge desk to see whether or not you would need a parking pass to do so. You can also contact them to find out if there is an RV park nearby at any of the other campus's as well.
Hi ggwash21. I recommend contacting Mayo Clinic Concierge Services to find out about current availability regarding parking. I know Nancy ran into some obstacles with construction a couple of years ago. So you want to make sure you have current status. Here's how to contact lmindela and the Concierge Services:
