On Tuesday at Microsoft Ignite, the company announced that Power Automate Desktop is now available at no additional cost, allowing Windows 10 users to harness the power of low-code robotic process automation (RPA). The technology is available as a download and will be included in Windows Insider Preview builds in the coming weeks.

Hello, I would like to build a little home office island in my very remote garden (no access to electricity) over the summer. Unfortunately my job requires some render power and therefore more energy than usual. My pc takes around 300-500W from the wall when running. Is there are realistic scenario where I could cover that energy consumption via solar power?


Now when I upload it to power BI web to my workspace it still displays everything but instead of giving me difference size fields it just shows a dark dot on the zip codes. Any idea on why this is happening?


Also if I directly interact with my ArcGis map in power BI online (removing the variable from the size field and put it back in the size field of the data pane) it also works...and I cannot really detect the issue.


Please try to clear cache on your browser based on what browser you are using and desktop(as  LeslieUK mentioned) and make sure you are using the latest Power BI desktop(Version: 2.119.870.0 64-bit (July 2023)) and ArcGIS for Power BI(2023.2.187) version.


However I noticed I had some language inconsistencies with English in Desktop and German being used in the web. I changed the language to German on desktop, republished and taaada...it now works perfectly fine.


so I have my room setup to run off a dc battery, and the battery itself is charged via a solar panel. I currently use an inverter to power my pc setup but I would love to know if I can eliminate the inverter entirely and run directly off of the battery or dc power alone and if so how.thanks


Since the Molex power connector is rated at 6 amps per circuit, with20-pin part you should not draw more than 12A from 3.3V, 24A from +5Vand 6A from +12V (note that pin 11 is often used for 3.3V remotesense). The 4-pin 12V2 connector P4 is rated 8A/pin, so you canadditionally draw up to 16A on +12V. A simple math shows that with20-pin main and 4-pin 12V2 aux connectors your maximum power could be355 wattfrom -to-24pin-atx.html


The main problem is supplying enough current on each rail for a total power output. Those DC supplies top out at 250W and the fact that they don't easily give you a cost suggests that they are more expensive than conventional AC/DC supplies.


Yes, you absolutely can run off of DC power. Google DC-DC ATX power supply units. Here is an example. DC power supply units are not common, but are often used with computers connected directly to battery backups and areas where connection to the AC power grid is not available, such as boats. You just have to make sure your DC supply is capable of supplying the necessary voltage and amperage.


Most people will never see these. But they are common in military and naval operations, where there is no AC power available. You will also see this for in television and radio broadcasting, but it is not as common and is being phased out.

If I open the application directly from the desktop, the pop-up window appears as usual, and I can log in to my account without any problems. However, when accessing the application through Citrix, this window does not appear. Upon clicking 'Sign In', it briefly opens and then immediately closes/disappears, making it impossible to log in.


Note that I use a Desktop and the Powertop, Powerstat, and Power Statistics programs referenceed here only work for laptops. The answer suggests that for desktop the only solution "then" is to use a electronic watt-meter. Has the situation changed in last 2 years?

My team is in the process of testing power pack for deployment to receptionist and is having issues. It seems that it shows up for some users as an option but not for others that have the same exact settings (including call queues, delegation, calling plan, etc.) Are we missing something obvious?


Also, in the Zoom app's General Settings, there is a section called Zoom Assistant. If the "Phone" checkbox is disabled, then the Power Pack will not be enabled regardless of the setting in the user's web portal settings. I believe this is because a similar feature to the power pack now exists for interacting with meetings.
