Clip Studio Paint is optimized for drawing and painting, making it ideal for illustrators. The painting brushes are highly customizable and easy to use. There's a thriving community of users who constantly contribute to the online materials library. Clip Studio Paint is also ideal for illustrators who specialize in linework. The smoothness of lines, lack of lag while drawing, as well as the vector output make drawing very fun and efficient.

CSP is a versatile digital painting program great for painting and inking with many unique features.

One of my favourites is the perspective ruler which is super useful and convenient for planning or drawing backgrounds!

We were feeling a little sad when we removed our beautiful coffee filter flowers (Paper Flowers for Spring) from our living room windows. They were so vibrant and colorful, and they added an extra touch of playfulness to the room. But they had to come down, in order to make room for these amazingly fun (and equally colorful) Puffy Paint Window Clings!

During this past holiday season I came across these adorable Holiday Minion Window Clings (over on One Little Project) and I was smitten. I had no idea that you could create such marvelous window art with puffy paint. As it turns out, Debbie is pretty much a DIY window cling expert! She also shares this DIY Ladybug Window Clings post on her amazing blog.

I was going to paint my beautiful white windows black. I honestly never thought that I would see the day, but I was doing it. I wanted black metal windows but the painted black windows panes looked almost identical at a fraction of the cost.

When we got the first computer on our hands, as a kid, we were intrigued with MS paint. It was the one application that made us aware that digitally we could unleash our creativity. All of us, especially the 90s kids were a bit disheartened when we learned that Microsoft will stop supporting MS paint very soon, in order to promote Paint 3D, that comes with windows 10. Although Paint is still available in Windows, eventually Microsoft plans to remove it permanently and only keep it as a Windows store product for users who still wants to use MS Paint.

Those of us who still want to make MS Paint a part of their life, the next best thing is in store. Behold MS Paint online. It is an easy to use web-based application, the look and feel of which is exactly like MS Paint. Not only that, the user interface of MS Paint online resembles the version of MS Paint used in older versions of windows. With the color pallet located at the bottom and classical sidebar icons, the app promises you the old Windows Classic experience. I personally checked out the tool and found it working properly in all major browsers without any cross-browser compatibility issues.

I finally tested out this theory with this Vintage Window Flower Box and it really did take me just seconds to scrape all of that extra paint off the glass. And honestly, it looked so much better than even my most careful taping jobs!

How have I not thought of this?! I have taped, I have painted, I have also scraped paint off. Never thought of scraping after I paint. I too cannot stand the prep portion of a project. Or sanding, sanding is my sworn enemy. It takes so long and is really boring. I just want to get to the fun portion of a project. I love the end results with your window!

Before you start, test your paint flow on a scrap piece of paper, wood, etc. You want to make sure you have a smooth finish. Then run your hands over all of the tape you applied on the windows. The tape likes to pop loose sometimes. Then start applying your paint in slow, even strokes. I found it best to apply the paint on all the vertical pieces first and then switch the nozzle for the horizontal pieces. Make sure you get into all the grooves and look at the window frame from all angles to make sure you painted every square inch.

Another alternative is using pvc strips and cross pieces for more of a realistic look. I found these from New Panes where you can order in the quantity that you need. These pvc strips from New Panes can be painted so I used the Pro-Industrial paint to match the window frame color. These are measured, cut, and applied to the windows with either double sided tape or with blade clips.

How many of you are about to go running and paint all your windows black? I would totally jump in and help if I could. I would love to see your reaction when you peel back the tape and plastic and see your new black windows for the first time. Make sure to tag me on your socials if you try this and share! Get ready to have your mind blown. You can also watch the full process of prepping and painting the windows below.

When you open your window or your sliding glass door can you see the white frame still where the window overlaps? Or did you take the frame off some how to paint that portion of the window? This seems like more of an issue in the sliding glass door that will be opened more frequently.

Hi did you paint the exterior frame also? If not what does it look like from the outside. I would love to do this to my windows but I only want to do the inside. Can you see part of the black from the outside.

Thank you

Paint is a simple raster graphics editor that has been included with all versions of Microsoft Windows. The program opens, modifies and saves image files in Windows bitmap (BMP), JPEG, GIF, PNG, and single-page TIFF formats. The program can be in color mode or two-color black-and-white, but there is no grayscale mode. For its simplicity and wide availability, it rapidly became one of the most used Windows applications, introducing many to painting on a computer for the first time.

The version of Paint in Windows 7 and later features a ribbon in its user interface.[10] It also features "artistic" brushes composed of varying shades of gray and some degree of transparency that give a more realistic result. To add to the realism, the oil and watercolor brushes can only paint for a small distance before the user must re-click (this gives the illusion that the paintbrush has run out of paint). In addition, Paint can now undo up to 50 subsequent changes. It also has anti-aliased shapes, which can be resized freely until they are rasterized when another tool is selected. This version supports viewing (but not saving) transparent PNG and ICO file formats and saves files in the .png file format by default.

I know this will be your next question: How well does it come off? I just sprayed it with windex and wiped. For a full window covering you will probably need lots of paper towels- the paper towels get covered with paint pretty quick. But it does come off! For really think parts you can get a little spatula or razor blade and take it off that way (or just scratch it with your nail!) But it DOES COME OFF!

I actually tried painting windows with tempera. I do not recommend. If there is a lot of moisture (heavy steam or rain) tempera will run. Even a heavy mixture from powder. Acrylic stays until you take it off. Not to mention the beautiful stained glass effect.

In addition to using straight-edge blades, you can consider using 0000 steel wool. This is a super fine grade and is a personal preference over blades for some. Many claim it increases the threat of scratching, but if done properly with a fresh, clean pad, can remove a lot of paint in little time.

MyPerfectColor produces Pella touch up paint by matching Pella Windows and Doors finishes. Each color is offered in aerosol spray paint, brush cap bottles, paint pens, and cans of any size. Note that only our acrylic enamel paint is intended to be a touch up paint. While we offer water-based paint matching Pella colors, this water-based paint type is not formulated with the same precision the acrylic enamel. Read more about Touch Up Paint in general.

MyPerfectColor has the original Pella Windows and Doors color samples which are used to make paint matching the colors. MyPerfectColor uses its color matching capabilities and extensive pigment library to precisely match the color and sheen of the Pella Windows and Doors color. Please note that if the materials you are trying to match are not new, then the existing color is likely different than it was when new. MyPerfectColor will be sending a match of the original color which may no longer match your existing materials. If your match is critical, you amy consider sending a part for paint color matching. Can I use these paints as touch up paint for Pella Windows and Doors products?Yes, MyPerfectColor matches the color and sheen of all the Pella Windows and Doors colors. Choose spray paint, paint pens or touch up bottles as the paint type option if you need to touch up sections of windows or doors. Keep in mind that our version of the color is based on matching an official Pella Windows and Doors color sample. The color and sheen of your specific Pella Windows and Doors parts may vary. If your windows or doors are not new and have been exposed to the weather, then it is likely that the color has changed over time. MyPerfectColor will be sending a match of the original color which has not been exposed to sunlight and weather. If your exterior has aged and you need a touch up application, we can create a touch up solution precisely matching the current color of your windows or doors from a part you send.

Hi, I work for a builder and I recognize those windows. They are in fact wood, they look like the Pella Lifestyle line, and they should be double hung. Also, both sashes pop right out of the tracks very easily which would have made them much easier for you to paint and not worry about getting paint on the trim. You just flip them down like you would when you go to clean them, and then lift them out of the tracks. Less Hassel and potential mess in a finished room with black paint. I hope that helps!

Painting the windows or doors scares me since we will be selling our house soon, so we have been making stain glass pictures.

I have a picture of what we did but not sure how to add it to this post.
