I write the gmi files directly on my server using Emacs + TRAMP + gemini-mode. I have several Elisp functions I wrote which provide very basic CMS functions, like quickly creating the gmi file with an appropriate file name, as well as listing it on the gemfeed page, and uploading images. I use git for VC on all the files. Some people like to use org mode and then create the gemtext documents from that. But personally I like the gemtext format a lot as being simple and visually pleasing and natural for writing, so I just write the gemtext directly. I use kineto to provide a Web proxy to the capsule. -- Christopher Howard
