And what errormessage was displayed? What gnuplot version do you have? Stock gp5 build from debian backports? Homebuilt? For interactive terminals, qt should definitely work on Kubuntu, wxt most likely, x11 too. Has nothin to do with your graphics card and monitor, that was in the 1990ies. Ok, not even then. Karl
