Thanks for that information.
If gnuplot doesn't have a limit on the number of files that can be
plotted then perhaps it was the total length of the line that was causing
the problem. If more files can be plotted then that will make things easier
for us.
I am going to recreate the earlier conditions and then try to see
what that error message is. That might take a day or so as I am attempting
to keep several people's programming efforts moving forward.
