Posted by E.D.G. on March 22, 2012 Thanks for the information. This is a multiple persons project and it can take some time to make one complete loop of all of the project sections and get back to addressing Newsgroup posts such as this one. Questions: It sounds from some of the documentation like gnuplot might be used as a CGI program at a Web site so that png files can be created and stored at the site. Is that correct? If so then where can information be found regarding how to get gnuplot organized for doing that? The project several of us are presently working on involves preparing computer programs that are scheduled to eventually be translated into CGI programs for use at a Web site. Since gnuplot is being used with the present computer programs to generate charts, if it can also be used at a Web site then we might try getting a Web page created for doing that so that we can get a startup version of the actual Web page running with all of the needed data input screens etc. For the PC versions of the Web site CGI programs we will probably use Xampp with our programs and gnuplot. If gnuplot cannot be used for CGI work then we will eventually need to use some other program to generate our png files at the Web site. That is not expected to be a problem. But it will take some additional research.
