I'd like to have a thin space(*) between the value and the unit in the legend of the plot, which is done in LaTex by "\,". Unfortunately, I cant manage this in gnuplot. Here comes a minimal example: set terminal postscript eps enhanced 28 rounded set encoding utf8 set output 'out.eps' plot 1/(x+5) ti 'He, 1 keV/µm',\ 1/(x+5)**2 ti 'Li, 5 keV/µm' set output unset output What I already tried was to copy&paste a thin space out of a latex pdf between the numbers and the units, generated by "\,". But this changes literally nothing in the resulting eps file. I also could not found any hints in the Internet. Can somebody give me a clue how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance, Uwe (*) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thin_space
