It's working well now, except, I wish it was //e compatible.  I tried 
booting
Copy II Plus 9.0 as a hard drive on slot #7, and it did, but told me that I 
needed
a //e or better to run it. At least the detection part is working.   8>)

That's great, leading to the hardware modification techniques I talked about
before, but, I hope you're going to consider bring this up to the //e level.

I have rarely used the II+ at all in many years, and even the //e, except
for AppleWIN.  I have been a IIgs guy, ROM03 essentially, because it has
everything I could ever want in an Apple.
