Hello all,

I have a question.
On my server i have 2 Sybase instalations.
ASE 15    - Instance A running
ASE 15.5  - Instance B running


I wish to move my Instance A to 15.5.
But I don't want to upgrade the software to 15.5 because I already have it installed on the machine. 
Also I don't want to migrate the data, it will take lots of space and make me create another instance. New devices, Dump, Load, syslogins, ect...

Is there a way to run my Instance A, on 15.5 using the same devices. And after run installmaster to make it up to date with the bew version?


Can I just create a new RUN_FILE in 15.5 pointing to my master of 15??
And after run installmaster?
