I like to access d3 and linux from an accuterm 2k2 window with multiple tabs;
actually from TWO such windows, so I can see a 'source' window and 'dest'
window for various operations. But they're exact twins when I try to come
back to accuterm after browsing the web or checking my mail.
You can set the title on the window in accuterm {well, the prefix of the title,
each tab gets a variation of that} but it is global to all accuterm windows on
the desktop.
One brute-force-and-ignorance solution is to 'clone' your install to another folder
and tweak the title there with some variation, then set up another icon to launch
the second window specifically from that cloned folder.
Open c:\program files
copy your source folder {atwin for my particular computer}
to another name folder you create {I used atwon for the new folder}
Now in both atwin\atwin.ini file and atwon\atwin.ini files
open an edit session and
put in a section called [Custom]
put a line in that section
Title=left accuterm
and over in the atwon change that to Title=right accuterm
{If EDIT will not let you write out the changes, you need to
right-click on the file and 'take ownership' of it.}
You could also put in a line
Splash=NO to suppress the startup
accuterm splash graphic, though that is disregarded if it has
per-computer text embedded such as 'demonstration copy' .
At the start of my day I open first the icon that has 'target' of
"c:\program files\atwin\atwin2k2.exe" "myparticular.scr"
{and starts in folder "c:\program files\atwin"
and then I open the icon that has 'target' of
"c:\program files\atwon\atwin2k2.exe" "myparticular.scr"
{and starts in folder "c:\program files\atwon"
and voila! two accuterm windows with distinguishing titles.
