Reset rights for root@localhost

Hi,

I have an urgent problem:

A colleague changed the "root@localhost" in the user management into 
"root@%"

Now we can't access anymore, neither via localhost nor from remote.

Any hints how to repair this and enable root@localhost again are very 
appreciated.
