I have two SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Clusters situated in NJ and TX data centers which are mirrored. NJ is the primary and TX is the DR. I also have Transaction replication from this NJ Node to a totally separate reporting SQL server in NJ. The past weekend we had a network issue where packets were dropped so the mirroring never caught up synchronizing. Now we have resolved the issue and the connectivity is resumed. Now I notice that my replication transactions are all pending for the transaction logs to be flushed. But for that the mirroring needs to be synchronized. I notice that my mirroring monitor is showing as its sending transactions but I am unable to determine how long I have to wait.. In the mean time, my reporting environment is not upto date. Is it possible to have the mirroring commit changes more often so I do not have to wait for the whole mirroring to synchronize? Is there a way I can manually move the logs and synchronize the mirroring so I can reduce the time I have to wait for the replication to start.. Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance.. Regards, Aravin Rajendra
