What I have gathered from all of your informative ideas is to explain the situation in simpler terms : The database exists, it was created to keep track of her toys over 5 years ago. I would like to have the photo of each toy appear in the container field of its corresponding record. If she takes a digital photo of each toy, she will end up with 100 images in the camera. - How should these images be transferred to her MacBook Pro ? Through IPhoto or is there a better method - Should they be put in a folder & should each picture be a separate file : .jpg Once on the desktop of the computer, how should these images be placed into the container field of the corresponding record ? - imported, copied (pasted) or inserted Following is my own answer based on your responses. - She will take the photos 1 by 1 - I believe that each image (file) will be automatically named : IMG_0001.JPG to IMG_0100.JPG - These images (files) will be placed in a folder on her desk top through IPhoto. - She will add the Id from the corresponding record to the title : IMG_0001_Id_0050.JPG to IMG_0100_Id_0099.JPG - I will insert the image from each file : IMG_0001_Id_0050.JPG to IMG_0100_Id_0099.JPG into the container field of its corresponding record I hope this will be easier to resolve. A continued thanks, Francois
