I have used sumif for reports and it has always worked well, until I needed to sum ranges by date (2012, 2013, Jan. 2014, Feb. 2014, etc.). I have not been able to get sumif to work with common date formats such as 1/21/12 or 1/21/2012. It does work if I segregate the day, month, and year in different columns. Any ideas to make it work, or a good work-around? Thanks, Dave
