Research Associate: Policy, Responsible Innovation & the future of AI

The Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI) is currently rec=
ruiting for a postdoctoral Research Associate to join our project 'Policy, =
Responsible Innovation and the Future of AI'[http://lcfi.ac.uk/projects/pol=
icy-and-responsible-innovation/]. The appointment will be for 3 years, and =
is based in the University of Cambridge.=20

We're looking for someone with a PhD in a relevant field (or equivalent exp=
erience in a relevant setting), who can provide strong evidence of potentia=
l for research and publication at the highest level, as well as interest in=
 engagement with policy and technology communities. Relevant fields include=
: Science and Technology Studies; Public Policy; Political Science; Compute=
r Science; Economics; Law.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as we build an exciting new inte=
rdisciplinary research centre addressing the challenges and opportunities p=
osed by artificial intelligence (AI). Funded by the Leverhulme Trust, CFI i=
s based at the University of Cambridge, with partners in the University of =
Oxford, Imperial College, and UC Berkeley, and close links with industry pa=
rtners and policymakers.
