(KUTV) The Grantsville High School football coach and long-term substitute teacher has been arrested, accused of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, among other charges. The Tooele County School District said in a Facebook post that Curtis Ware was arrested Thursday by Grantsville Police after the Grantsville High School principal was given some information. Principal Mark Ersnst received the information Wednesday and immediately told police, the parents of the student and the Tooele County School District. The school district conducted an internal investigation then turned Ware over to Grantsville Police for investigation. The school district said in the post they are following due process for termination. Ware is facing charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, forcible sex abuse, sexual battery and lewdness involving a minor.
