Dear colleagues, I have an opening for a post-doc position in my lab. Areas of research include: developing machine vision and spectroscopy phenotyping, statistical and computational analysis of machine-collected data, and quantitative genetics. Specifically, we will be focusing on assays for kernel and seedling traits relevant to sweet corn breeding. Candidates will need a track record of publication. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience in maize research along with analysis of image/spectroscopy data or quantitative/population genetics. Send a letter of interest in the position, C.V., and contact information for three references to Mark Settles at settles@ufl.edu<mailto:settles@ufl.edu>. Please feel free to forward to qualified individuals. Thanks, A. Mark Settles Professor Horticultural Sciences Department University of Florida Gainesville, FL 32611 Tel. 352-392-7571
