That's not the same thing as pass Australian standards
testing. None of them have to do that, even with major
electrical appliance like a washing machine.

Yeah, I still haven't got off my arse and done anything yet,
mainly because I cant decide how often I am actually likely
to need substantial completely offline charging of my phone
without my car. I almost never end up where I can't use a
normal mains charger or the one in the car, just when I
manage to miss the train home with the next one a full
day away and not being able to stay with the people
who I have driven their car to where they are for them
because they arent confident of driving that far themselves
and with them staying with their own relos who they
arent able to provide somewhere for me to stay for
that reason.

With the stuff I do all the time at home, it makes more
sense to just charge the bluetooth headset every time
I use it than to carry one of the much smaller battery
banks to use when it runs out of charge. I never ever
have phone go flat where I can't charge it from the
mains or the car when at home.

I only have the one car I use all the time and don't
let the battery get so bad that I ever need to jump
start it because even using one of those cigarette
packet sized ones is a damned nuisance compared
with just turning the key.
