Around here, they put an NBN box adjacent to each Telstra pillar. Quite 
a lot of pillars were then extended, I presume that they added 
connections to the NBN box so that to move a connection to the NBN, they 
just need to move the consumers pair from the Telstra connection to the 
NBN one.
