I am the Founder of Quickflix and I am writing to you with some 
important news.

Since our commencement in 2004 it has been our great pleasure to deliver 
great entertainment to Australians everywhere. We have a wonderful and 
hard-working team whose mission has been to introduce more choice and 
convenience, first in our DVD and Blu-ray by post service providing a 
selection from Australia's largest range of movie and TV shows and then 
in streaming to a wide range of popular devices including smartTVs, game 
consoles, mobile and tablets.

Along the way we have delivered tens of millions of movies and TV shows 
to our loyal customers. Quickflix is proud of its role in innovating and 
pioneering change in the way entertainment is delivered in Australia. 
Consumers now have more choices in entertainment services than ever and 
of course with new providers in the market there is more competition 
than ever.

As a small independent company listed on the ASX and owned by thousands 
of Australians, the Quickflix journey has been exciting but not always 
easy, especially when it comes to competing against much larger media 
interests. Some years ago one of our competitors acquired shares in our 
company which has resulted in an impediment to securing necessary new 
capital to ensure our service is the best it can be.

Therefore, to address this issue and to ensure Quickflix is in the 
strongest position to go forward, we have appointed partners from 
Ferrier Hodgson as voluntary administrators. The good news is that they 
will continue to operate the business so you’ll continue to receive your 
Quickflix service as usual, have access to your account and be billed in 
the normal way.

As a Quickflix subscriber you are entitled to either attend or be 
represented at the first meeting of the administrator that is scheduled 
for 11am(AWST), Friday 6 May 2016, although you have no obligation to 
attend and your rights as a subscriber will not be affected if you 
choose not to attend the meeting. If you would like to be represented at 
the meeting, please follow this link to the administrator’s circular and 
return the relevant documents to the administrators prior to the meeting.
