Its actually part of Aldi's emphasis on getting you thru the checkout
as quickly as possible, you don’t have to wait for the stupid apes to
enter the amount you pay them, they don’t use monkeys too stupid
to work out the change quickly.

I only use cash when there is no alternative like
with the garage sales and the farmer's market.
