Sure, but those are people in the news, and The Sun only got
into their voicemail systems because they were too stupid to
change the default PIN and so all you needed to do was
know their phone number. Nothing like what 60 Minutes
was mindlessly hyperventilating and lying about.

He's just plain wrong and whatever 60 Minutes claims, it can't
be done by anyone who wants to with the sort of hardware
that anyone can get for peanuts and which can't be trivially
detected by anyone who wasn’t to check if that is happening.
