Intel Management Engine Interface

Support Assist tells me it's critical that I install Intel Management 
Engine Interface.  It has for years, but I've ignored it.  I decided to 
look further into this.

But when I click on Compatible System, my Inspiron 5559 is not listed.  
Furthermore, if I go to the Dell support site and enter my service tag and 
search for drivers, it also says the Intel Management Engine Interface is 
not compatible with my system.

Why does SA tell me this driver is critical, yet other locations on the 
Dell support site tell me it's not compatible with my system?
