I don't think so. The way you're explaining it, if you had a spare 3.5mm jack, you could splice it onto on of the sides you want to listen to that device on. So one headset, 2 jacks. You could easily run one side to a jack, and vice versa. Then just plug into the 2 devices, and adjust the audio.

You said walkman in one ear, and the other in the other ear, right?

Yeah, just do that.
