Looking for a plug in radio for FM audio usage

Hi everyone, I have a Prunus J166 and a Retekess V115 and love them both. I
am looking for something plug in so I am not constantly giving my V115s
battery a beating. I bought a Panasonic RF-2400D but returned it because
the speaker tuning was so treble focused it made for an unenjoyable music
listening radio. Even the little Prunus and Retekess has better bass
reproduction with their smaller speakers.
I know about the Sony ICF-506, it seems a little expensive but might be
worth it if the speaker is good. I have a Sony ICF-P27 as well and it is
seriously quiet compared to the Prunus. submitted by

Need a small transmitter about 100ft

I work for a hospital IT department and we are building a drive through
phlebotomy Station. We want to be able to have a sign out from telling
people to tune into a radio station to hear instructions on what to do and
which of the two lanes to use. The distance we would need to broadcast
would only be about 100ft. What is some inexpensive equipment and what
rules/regulations should I go by? submitted by /u/Loodwiig

Salary Question For Imaging Director

https://www.reddit.com/r/radio/comments/w4lyl8/salary_question_for_imaging_director/

Im a regular in this sub but made an alt account to post this question
without doxing myself.

Im in talks to become Imaging Director in a top 10 market at a cluster with
more than 5 stations, but less than 10. Ive been wondering what would be a
typical salary for this position given the context?

I have 7 years experience having done it all: on-air, production,
promotions, etc.. Few different PDs and Operations peeps here have made it
clear they want me in the position and majorly need help but theres
formalities theyre waiting on (higher ups) as well as the macro environment
(recession looming).

Any input would be awesome, will answer any questions if needed.

Thanks yall! submitted by /u/Throw4way2022

'Police Band' question.

Id like to have a modern equivalent of one of those old world band radios
(and not spend a whole bunch of money, sub $200 lets say) and see that
there are plenty out there with AM/FM/SW/occasionally aircraft, but nothing
appears to have the public safety VHF frequencies as they did in the past.
(I realize that they arent useful in most area, however its quite useful
here, I realize that I could just buy a cheap scanner).
Is there a product like that that isnt vintage? submitted by
