It also did fine, like Neon, and used 450 megs live to the desktop. So given the 'modest' ram usage of Neon's Ubuntu KDE and Tumbleweed opensuse KDE, I would say that the 'problem child' is Debian's implementation of KDE in its provided .iso. I was using the non-free which isn't 'official'. It is conceivable that the official Debian KDE might be better. -- Mike Easter
