There are rules to follow to add a new news group, you should look up 
the rules. May I suggest the group name: alt.os.mx-linux. It may have to 
be alt.os.linux.mx-linux. Like I said you should look up the rules, 
there are news groups with the rules, also search for the rules. Don't 
expect eternal-september.org to add the group without you following the 
rules. Suggestion search "how to add a new news group". MX Linux used to 
be Mepis if you know the history, the MX site and forum where Mepis and 
the admin at MX-Linux where Mepis users and you may use this group if 
you have a problem or comment. MX-Linux wants you to use the forum so 
don't expect much traffic on the news group.
