I actually prefer Usenet newsgroups as well, but have resigned myself to the fact that I'm a dinosaur and that web forums and social media are what the cool kids use now. As for MX, it's a great distro. But, as you can see from my sig, I don't use it as my daily driver. I just wasn't able to get over my love for KDE, and was unable to configure MX with KDE to the high standards that I'd been spoiled with by Warren Woodford and MEPIS,. So I held my nose and went with Mint KDE. It's not MEPIS 11 (my all time favorite Linux of all time), but it does the job. That said, I have MX on both my laptops, have installed it for others, have used it numerous times as a live rescue system, and do recommend it to others. My irrational need to have KDE doesn't prevent me from appreciating the work that Jerry and the team he put together have done. There will come a time when this Mint KDE no longer works for me, and maybe I'll see if I can bend MX to my will and make it mine. -- Mark Warner Linux Mint KDE Registered Linux User #415318 ...lose .inhibitions when replying
