You’re probably thinking of the madison command. From your local apt sources
you can use: apt-cache madison XYZ or apt-cache policy XYZ. To check across
all Debian releases (needs the devscripts package), run: rmadison XYZ or
rmadison -s bookworm XYZ. If you’d rather use the web interface:
https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=XYZ
 — that shows which Debian
releases include the package and its versions.
