I have been out of home over the weekend but today I checked what HW is
in my X230 and found no Broadcom. I have removed packages
broadcom-sta-dkms and broadcom-sta-commons. Now I get no error messages
when the system is updated/upgraded and no issues when booting.

I will do the same to my main system if I find it has no need for these
packages.
