There are still dialup bbs's around. And as a matter of fact a few
sysops I know setup a 1800 number attached to a central BBS, which
allows you to hop to hundreds of other boards that don't have dialup
connectivity. I'll have to dig up the number, or go on MRC and ask one
of them the access number.

But yeah, there are still dialup boards around, and one even running on
a C64.
