Tb's strategy also has some weaknesses. mbox has some suboptimal features as discussed in numerous articles on the 'varieties' which have arisen thru' the years. compacting is a necessary admin task which has its own potential for corrupting. That doesn't mean that other alternatives don't have their own vulnerabilities, but just that it is 'questionable' whether Tb's is ideal or optimal. -- Mike Easter
