Thanks, what I was hoping for was to avoid editing the list of emails,
as there were quite a lot of them. So either pasting them into the "To:"
field, or pasting them into the address book, as they were, would have
been ideal. What I did in the end was paste them into Evolution which
accepted them as they were.
