My Buffalo Air Station wi-fi router is Model WHR-HP-G54. Its speed has always been 54 Mbps (as shown in the icon in the notification area of my Windows XP-SP3 laptop). Lately however, the speed has been fluctuating between speeds of 48, 36, 24, 11, and even 1, Mbps, all within minutes, sometimes taking websites "forever" to load. Why would these speed fluctuations occur? I have not changed anything as to modem, router, or network connection. (The modem is an Earthlink-supplied Zyxel P-660R-D1). Can anyone give me some troubleshooting tips that might fix the issue? Thank you in advance for any help. George
