Yeahhh, spam's become a bit of a problem, COMP.LANG.C used to have 
overwhelming amounts of spam about stuff like BIG FREE MONEY, DRUGS 
MUSHROOMS BUY BUY, and so on and so on in giant walls in between 
discussions about coding.

Thankfully, a lot of the groups I'm in don't have to deal with it, plus 
Google Groups is disabling posting to heavy-spammed newgroups

(Idk who they're even fooling tbh, someone who found their way onto 
USEnet in 2023 clearly ain't gonna fall for the oldest spam in the book...)
