Position:In Vitro Diagnostics (Kit) Sales  
Location: AB - Calgary 
Our client is an international company developing and selling biological kits/ detection systems for human medical disorders. Presently they are seeking a Calgary-based experienced sales specialist, who will also be serving as the first line of technical support. As such there will be a requirement to be able to move / lift heavy equipment.
DESCRIPTION: 
Phone and on-site sales, post sales support, and training. 
Customer relationship building, growth of customer base. 
Travel throughout AB, BC, and SK - base in Calgary or Edmonton, as client concentration in AB.
Will involve moving heavy equipment at client sites in instances related to technical support. 
REQUIREMENTS: 
B.Sc. or M.Sc. or diploma - life sciences, biochemistry, immunology/ related. 
Excellent understanding of clinical diagnostics and preferably immunology based testing. 
Hands -on bench experience - 1 to 2 years. 
Local 1 - 2 years' Canadian sales background - lab sales preferred. 
Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Able to travel locally and overnight. Strong people and organizational skills.
Prefer local AB candidates.
Note that this is not a senior position.
